About the Event[]
SyncNorwich and The University of East Anglia (UEA) are embarking on their most ambitious event yet. Sync the City is a 54 Hour event during which groups of developers, business managers, startup enthusiasts, marketing gurus, graphic artists, students and more pitch ideas for new startup companies. Teams will form around the pitched ideas, and are guided by mentors, where a working prototype or minimum viable product is developed and presented to a panel of esteemed judges.
This is more than your average Hackathon. It’s a 3 day frenzy of Startup building that could win you and your team up to £7,000 in prizes (£3,000 Judges cash prize, a £1,000 “peoples choice” cash prize and a prize draw for £1,000 worth of business consulting from Adap+ and £2,000 Sales training from Ermine Amies of Sandler Training).
